IntelliLine frameworks

The original models we use to design engagements, published in full. Use them with us or without us — an idea you keep behind a form is not a contribution.

Framework 01

The IntelliLine Autonomous Operations Framework

Five stages, run in order. Map, automate, agentify, humanize, manage. The order is the point: deciding what should not be automated has to happen before anything is built.

Framework 02

The IntelliLine Human Layer

A model for where real people should enter an AI-powered business system — as a designed layer with its own triggers, not as the thing that happens when software fails.

Framework 03

The AI Operations Maturity Model

Five levels. Most organizations we meet sit between one and two and believe they are at three. Knowing which level you are actually at determines what is worth doing next.

Level 1

Manual

Work is done by people, tracked in memory, email and spreadsheets. Capacity is the number of hours available. Nothing scales without hiring.

Level 2

Automated

Predictable work runs on rules. Reminders send themselves, records synchronise, reports generate. Reliability improves sharply; judgement is still entirely human.

Level 3

AI assisted

AI helps people work faster — drafting, summarising, classifying — but a person is still in the path of every action. Throughput rises; the operation still needs watching.

Level 4

Agentic

AI agents hold defined roles and take defined actions inside boundaries. People handle exceptions and the moments that need accountability rather than every step.

Level 5

Managed autonomy

The operation largely runs itself, is monitored continuously, escalates deliberately, and is improved on a cadence. Leadership sets direction and approves the things that should require approval.

Framework 04

The Autonomy Opportunity Score

A structured, directional method for locating where automation, AI and human-layer opportunity actually sits in an operation — weighted across volume, response behaviour, manual load, systems fragmentation and after-hours demand.

Directional prioritisation, not a scientific measurement. We publish the method rather than the marketing claim.

On naming. These frameworks are IntelliLine's own work and we use the names consistently. We do not assert registered trademark status for any of them, because none is currently registered. If that changes we will say so here rather than decorating the names in the meantime.

Start with a conversation, not a contract.

Thirty minutes. We look at how the work moves through your business today, and where it stops moving.
